Ouhrdomiel wandered about the banks of the pearl rivers, her light ivory eyes widened and a warm smile on her face. A look of adoration came over her as she stared at the shimmering waters, for once not caring how hot the sun felt against her dark skin.
She dipped a paw into one of the rivers, splashing some of the water onto herself. It felt good, and she gave a relaxed sigh as she rolled over onto one side, covering herself with her large wings. Her tail flicked happily back and forth and she hummed a tune to herself. A song that had been lost for so long, ever since her old family had been split apart ages ago.
It helped her remember and relax, which was all she cared to do these days. Unlike many others, she hadn't really come seeking a mate. She was rather oblivious to that sort of thing really, and she grew uneasy at any proposition that extended beyond normal friendship. She hated to be tied down, you could say.
" Such a pleasant land this is," She mused to herself. " And to think, I have a home in one of the clans that dwells about here. My luck has finally changed..."
