Ouhrdomiel was new to this land, and had arrived at this particular outskirt only because of the smell of other dragons wafting on the air. She was unsure whether the territory was friendly at the moment, and inwardly cursed herself for following the scent of others. True, she couldn't stand the bleak loneliness that many of the places had to offer, but that didn't give her the right to go gallavanting about did it?
She stiffened her position in response, her whole posture becoming rigid and determined. She kept her wings folded at her side for now, but if necessary, she'd unravel them to show just how large they really were. Perhaps that would intimidate off trouble, if such a thing came.
Yawning slightly, she broke her statue-like position for a moment to stretch, twisting her spine like a feline would.
" No sense making myself uncomfortable," she chuckled, seating herself on a rather comfy boulder. " I do wonder what sort of dragons live upon the lands beyond these outskirts thugh..."
She tilted her head in curiosity, narrowing her eyes as if trying to spot one. But all was in vain, as she could see nothing.
" Maybe my senses are failing me," she added to herself. " Though I smelt fellow dragons, that does not necessarily mean any are here... Right?"
She tossed her shoulderbaldes up in a shrug, answering her own question once again, as she was so used to.
" Then I see no reason with taking advantage of the absence of life.."
Smirking to herself, she stretched her thin form over a few other rocks, shutting her eyes slowly as she became immersed in a form of half-sleep. Thankfully, there was a breeze at the moment to keep her at least -slightly cool.
" I should check out all these lands," She joked to herself, keeping her eyes closed. " See which one offers the most relaxation."

He stretched his wings to their full width. Sun shone through purple membrane. Ruby red scales glinted in the flare of the sun. Lord Roran, Dhaz of Kazotza. Strong, muscular body, lean and fit, glided through the wind. His yellow eyes were like slits. Orange horns glinted, orange claws tainted with a red shine. He was enjoying his afternoon fly around the outscirts of his clan. A new scent came across his senses. He swooped down, intending to find out about this Outsider. He landed at the Outscirts. Roran docked his wings against his lean body and walked forward, his large paws making marks in the earth. Then, he spotted her. She was relaxing, like most dragons would. He walked forward, and stopped. "Hello. I am Lord Roran, Dhaz of this mighty Clan named Kazotza. State your name and buisness, fea" He spoke, his words flowing like the wind around him.

Startled out of her slumber, Ouhrdomiel jumped up, growling and immediatly showing the full extent of her wings. She seemed out of sorts for a few moments, before she finally shook her head and passed him a drowsy stare.
" Dhaz? Wha?"
She shook her head again and quickly lowered her position, thinking it might be the respectful thing to do. Though she felt intimidated, she hoped she hadn't offended him in any way.
" I am called Ouhrdomiel, and I followed the sent of other dragons here, thinking it was a place of gathering. I could not stand the bleak loneliness of the other lands. Even talking to myself doesn't help after a certain amount of time."
She gave him a frightened look before straightening herself out again. " I am sorry to have intruded upon your lands. I..I didn't think.."

Roran watched the fea, studing her for a moment. "No no, it's quite all right for you to come here. You see, these are the outscirts, where Outsiders can join" Roran explained. Marron spikes were about 8 inches long, jutting out from his back. His long tail swished from side to side, the finned end was a purple membrane. Roran held a grin on his lips, and his fangs jutted from his mouth at un even angles.
ooc: yeah, I'm having a writer's block

(( lol, that's quite alright. xP))
She tilted her head even more, nodding slightly as she took in what he had said. " Ah, I see. So if I wished, I could attempt to join this...clan?" She blinked once, as if this was confusing her all. Back where she had come from, things were done so much differently. That was the reason for her uncertainty for how these things worked.
" well, tell me more about this land, will you? I cannot see much of it from here.."

Roran smiled at her question. "Well, this is only the outscirts of my wonderful land. There is a giant waterfall, leading to a beautiful pond, and a pleasent forest and a bountyfull feild full of game." Roran said, flicking the very tip of his tail as he answered. His yellow eyes glinted in the moonlight. "And yes, you could attempt to join my clan. It is just me and my two Hatchlings" He said plainly, remembering his old, now dead, mate.

Ouhrdomiel straightened herself up again. " Just you and your hatchlings? What...What happened to their Mother?" She made an odd clicking noise as she asked this question, obviously regretting asking it the moment she had uttered it. But there was nothing she could do to take it back now, and rather than take the insensitive path and choose another topic of conversation, she decided to sit and wait it out.
Besides, even if it did enrage him, about the only thing he could probably see of her were her eyes, that looked like two, narrow miniture moons. Of course, if he had good eyesight, he'd be able to pick her out even in the dark.
" I'm sorry if the question bothered you," She quickly muttered. " I need to learn to think before I speak, I daresay."
(( I assume it's night since you said moonlight right? xP))

ooc: yup
bic: Well, I usually just tell the Hatchlings she's gone away..but she was found by a human. Her curiousity made her follow, but I should've been there instead of hunting on that tourist boat...She followed it into a trap...they shot her down and took her away, but I saw her die. There's no mistake, when you hear that cry, you know...and she's probably been disected by now Roran finsihed, shuddering as he thought of it. He blamed himself for the whole thing, just because he wasn't there. He saw the look on her face. But...I'll have to change the subject now. Do you want to join my clan, or not?" He asked, turnnig away

" I'm really sorry," She whispered under her breath, unable to believe what he'd just told her. She sat there in silence for a moment, pondering over what he said. She didn't want to be a nuisance to him and his children, but the truth was she definately needed a place to stay. Somewhere that she'd be accepted.
" If you will allow it," She replied, dipping her head into another low bow of respect, trying to make up for forcing him to relive those horrid memories. " If not, I shall understand. Believe me, I have been turned away before. On account of my particular species of dragon."
With that, she stopped speaking, awaiting his answer. She could deal with no, if that was on his mind.

Roan watched her with his own eyes. She seemed different from the other dragons. "No, wait. It's not your fault. I-I should let go of it and move on" Roran shrugged, regaining himself. "And Ouhrdomiel, I'd love to have you in my clan. I'm sure my Htachlings would enjoy another dragon beside their boring old father" He chuckled, swishing his tail from back to forth. He gave her a hearty smile, and unfolded his wings to fly somewhere else, making it clear that she was welcome in his clan

She returned a smile. " You aren't the one in the wrong, it was my fault for bringing it up. Though I thank you kind offer. You a truly a generous Dhaz." She gave another quick bow and extended her own wings, which greatly seemed to dwarf the size of her own body. She dipped her body low, shook her rear end for an extra boost, and then leapt off of the rock, taking to the air instantly with a mighty flap of her wings. " Then I suppose I shall see you around!" She called as she took off around the land, to take in each and every inch of it.
(( lol wow. That was a short board. xP))
