(( Phew. I did it! ^^))
((Oh, and before I forget..here's your codeword ))
" It's too hot.."
Ouhrdomiel snorted as she adjusted her position on the rock for what must have been the hundreth time, complaining once more about how warm her underbelly was starting to feel.
She gazed up into the sky with her haunting sort of eyes. Eyes that were as ivory as the full moon herself, and glowed with her soft light. Not even a slight crack in the dreadful line of plump clouds could be seen, meaning only one thing. It wasn't about to get any cooler.
Sighing, she placed her head down on her cat-like forepaws, grumbling somthing about the 'stupid sun' as she did so. Her chest bulged out for a moment as she took in a deep breath, her snake-like tongue tracing her upper fangs as she could feel her longing for water intensify. It didn't help any that her whole body was beginning to become damp with her own sweat.
Now normally, one would suspect a dragon of enjoying the heat, like any other reptile. But she was different than most of her kind. Both in apperance and actions.
Her skin was a rich mixture of ebony, dark sapphire, and dark lavendar. The sort of colors one could see in the midnight sky. Also, tiny little twinkling spots that resembled the stars in the night sky were scattered here and there, actually matching the very stars in space!
Her neck was long and as thin as her body, lacking the proper set of heavily armored scales. Her only horns, silver in color, protruded from the back of her slendar skull, more for decoration than anything else. A thick mane of lavendar-streaked ebony hair ran down her neck and all the way to the tip of her long, whip-like tail. She had no need for spikes, it seemed.
She was small for a dragon, perhaps half the size of a large mountain. Her body was also much more slendar than many dragons she'd seen out here. She was built for speed, not power.
Her wings, however, were remarkably large, and bulged with well-tended muscles. She was flier all right, and probably had come from a breed that specialized in aerial sort of combat and hunting.
The membrane on her wings was colored the same as her skin, and it made her blend in perfectly with the night sky. That told she was a night hunter, colored like the sky at such a time to hunt.
But obviously, she was no dragon for this sort of weather, as the loud gasping noises started to attract scavengers that hoped she would provide them with a tasty snack. Yet their fun was cut short with a low growl and a burst of comet-tail colored fire.
(( Wow. That was horrible. o.0))
